How to Pick Multibaggers

Not many studies have been done on multibagger returns. Few studies done in the past has shown that on average 70–80 percent of the multibaggers are created by nano-, micro-, small-, and mid-cap companies (less than $10-$20 billion market capitalization).

These studies show that the $50 million to $10 billion market cap range had 80 percent of the overall multibaggers. This is the hunting ground for multibaggers for investors. Now that doesn’tmean a stock can become multibagger if a company’s market capitalization is less than $10 billion. Small-, micro-, and nano-cap investing is just one of the eight frameworks to identify multibaggers in this book. There are seven other frameworks to identify multibaggers like buying quality companies during distress, companies buying back shares aggressively to name a couple.

Also, note that there were not many trillion-dollar companies prior to 2020, and now in 2025 we have over ten trillion-dollar companies. Companies are becoming larger with global GDP growing faster as well as huge amounts of global liquidity pumped into the system by central banks across the globe.

Multibaggers are created when a small company of market capitalization, let’s say, $1 billion becomes a large-cap of market capitalization of $50 billion. Multibaggers are also created when a large company of market capitalization, let’s say, $100 billion, becomes a Mega-cap of $3 trillion. This book will have eight frameworks to help investors identify future Multibaggers. And there are many real-life case studies I have used to explain each framework.
